申请M.D./M.B.A. 程序 will be required to meet the admissions criteria of the JHU 医学院 和 be admitted to the M.D. 程序. If the students are accepted by the SOM, their application will be forwarded to the MBA Admissions Office for review by the business school. M.D./M.B.A. 学术计划委员会 will approve the final c和idates for the dual- 学位 程序. Admitted students will receive admission to the 医学院 和 the Business 学校 for the dual-学位 程序. Applicants are required to have an MCAT score, however, the GMAT is NOT required.

This dual 学位 程序 is designed with two basic pathways. Each requires a slightly different process:

Students that identify during the application process as interested in this dual 学位 would begin their first year at Johns Hopkins with the Carey M.B.A. 然后开始M.D. 学位 in year two of the five year 程序. These students will apply to SOM for the Regular M.D. 程序 和 will select the Combined Medical Degree/Graduate 程序 designation on the AMCAS application 和 the Dual M.D./M.B.A. 霍普金斯大学的二次申请. SOM will first make its own admissions decision on the applicant for the M.D. 程序.

Students who are admitted to the Regular M.D. 程序 和 have expressed an interest in the Dual M.D./M.B.A. 程序 will then be considered by Carey. Applicants must comply with each of the Party’s stated admission requirements for the 程序. Applications 和 supporting documents will be shared between the Parties. SOM将保留申请费. The admissions committees for each school will make their own independent admissions decision. Decision letters will be sent from each division.

We recognize that some students may not decide to enter the dual 学位 程序 until after they have matriculated within the SOM. Students who wish to matriculate into the M.D. 程序，然后做M.B.A. 在M -3年之间工作..D can apply to this dual 学位 程序 by December 31 of their second year. They will first notify their SOM advisor 和 will be referred to the Carey school to complete their application for admission 和 will be evaluated for admission by the Carey admissions committee. Although these students would do the M.B.A. work between the 2nd-3rd years of the M.D. 程序, they will need to do a scholarly concentration that can apply to the dual 学位. Thus the scholarly concentration would normally be business oriented.

Students in the dual-学位 程序 must complete all of the 学位 requirements at both schools before they receive their M.D. 和M.B.A. 文凭.

学费 & 金融援助

Billing 和 financial aid assistance will be managed separately by each institution. M.D./M.B.A. students will pay full tuition 和 fees at the school they are registered each semester. All billing costs charged to the student through 凯里商学院 must be satisfied before student will receive any financial aid funding through 医学院.

Students may apply for financial aid assistance through both schools. 然而, funding will only be provided through the school for which the student is currently matriculating. Financial aid from one school may not be used to cover costs for the other.
